Having the Right Expectations For Your New Online Business Ventures Is Crucial

When I speak to new people just joining my coaching program they say:

“My goal is to make $50,000 or $100,000 a year online within the next year!”

I’m happy to hear this as it shows they have true crystallized desires in their mind, but I always follow up with the questions: ”Have you run a business before and further have you ever run a successful online business before or have professional online marketing experience?”

Most of them say “No.”

This is an important point in their new online business career, so I don’t want them to go wrong.

Pay attention to what I’m about to say as it could very well be the missing piece in your ladder of success.


This business is built on expectations.

The reason for all the frustration and failure in the online small business community is directly attributed to this.

People regularly over estimate there abilities and set the WRONG expectations for themselves that almost assures that they are setting their business up for failure.

Why?

Well if someone says to themselves and really believes in their heart that they are going to make X amount of money per year without any prior experience and then gets one
month into marketing their business and they haven’t earned a cent they feel as they have failed themselves.

And from there the downward spiral to giving up begins.

If you would only augment your expectations to the proper level this would NOT happen.

If you’re new to online marketing your first expectation should have NOTHING to do with money.

The first question you should ask and the first expectation you should set is “Can I get an opt-in subscriber?” (a subscriber is someone looking for more information about
what you are offering and subscribes to your autoresponder)

Then after you’ve done this successfully once you can set an expectation based on the number of subscribers you think you can get based on the time effort and money it took you to get that first one – but trust me you will get better at it.

The next question and expectation you should set “Can I convert someone from the subscribers I’ve generated into  a sale?”

Then once you’ve done this successfully once you can again move on to set an expectation based on the time effort and money it took you to get that first sale…

Only after you’ve graduated to this point do you really have the necessary knowledge to create a realistic monetary based expectation.

Why?

Because now you know the time energy and effort that it’s going to take you to get the first subscriber and next a sale, and because this is a business of duplication you can rest
assured that with an equivalent amount of time energy and effort you can do this again and again.

All you have to do at this point is plug in your compensation plan (how much you get paid) with your other experience based knowledge and you’ll be able to (for the first time?) set a realistic income goal.

Do not jump ahead!

Don’t go to getting your start up pack to setting unrealistic income goals for yourself. It could very well be the exact reason you end up quitting.

We as humans are funny creatures. Our emotions guide us to think in the extremes. We take on all or none mindsets instinctually, so we have to be weary of this.

If you set believable and achievable goals for yourself you absolutely will not fail.

So if you asked me if I think you could be earning an extra $50,000 or $100,00 in the next year my answer is absolutely yes!

Why?

Because I know you have the ability to generate a subscriber and from subscribers comes a sale and from a sale comes more sales and from that comes monthly and lifelong residual income.

Never Ending MLM Prospects Using the MLM Funded Proposal Concept

Having A Entrepreneurial Mindset Is Crucial For Network Marketing Success

Network marketing success starts from having an entrepreneurial mindset.

I am surprised how many people starting out in this industry lack this or are not even aware if it’s meaning and importance.

I did a webinar training last night for a friend in another network marketing company and on that webinar I got asked several questions as well as share a little bit about how I do my mlm sponsoring using only the Internet.

It was actually a little comical, even the webinar host was taking notes vigorously based on my mlm recruiting tips that I was giving. After I would complete sharing one of my strategies there would be thirty or forty seconds of silence because he was busy taking down just as many notes as all the other attendees.

Anyways after a couple more questions he asked a particular question that I wanted to address with all my readers.

he asked . . .

“What is the ‘entrepreneurial mindset’ and what importance does it have in relation to network marketing success?”

Well personally I believe your mindset IS your business.  It determines where you will go with your business and how quickly you will get there.

I simply answered the question something like this.  The entrepreneur’s mindset begins with their excitement about the success to come in the future.



The entrepreneur sees the opportunity put before them and he spends countless hours daydreaming thinking about the success and how it will FEEL when it comes to him. It fuels the fire. Without this the gas in the tank of any entrepreneurial effort quickly empties.

They don’t think about failure. ZERO about failure at all.  People that think about failing are just not ready for success or the home business industry for that matter.

You see an entrepreneur by definition is a person who offers a solution to a problem at a cost. Like me & some of you!

In the beginning, the problem that an entrepreneur faces in network marketing is how to solve their own immediate problems. How to get a home based business leads? How to sponsor new team members? How to train that new team member to duplicate their success quicker than he did it?

When they get these issues solved he benefits monetarily for the growth in his organization, but metaphysically he profits for knowing he has added overall value to the task and process at hand for many to follow.

The entrepreneur is not done at this point at all.

There is plenty more to be done. The entrepreneur sees the opportunity before him and sees that there is more value to be added. The people directly associated with him are not the only people to have the problems they began with so he devices a way to help more than his immediate circle through systems.

The entrepreneur sees no failure. The entrepreneur detaches his emotions from all outcomes be they positive or negative. He sees the results of his actions as merely observable data to improve upon.

The entrepreneur always asks himself “How can I do better next time?” And then sets out to improve upon their most immediate results for their personal growth and the benefit of all those associated with him.

The entrepreneur realizes that there is no such thing as “enough” he knows that just like an apple tree grows as large as it possibly can and then bares seeds that he too must ALWAYS grow.

If there is any one quality that the entrepreneur has that sets him apart from the average person that just has a regular J.O.B. is their confidence exceeds their competency. The entrepreneur sees the opportunity before him and he knows that he must grow into it regardless of whether or not he knows HOW to do it yet. It’s all just part of the journey towards having success he thinks to himself.

He just has confidence that he will get there whether that is today, in a few months or even in years.  He never treats or looks at network marketing opportunities as a race, but rather the journey.  This is why they win and NEVER really fail.

The entrepreneur asks everyday what it is that he wants and then sets out to get it with excitement.

Step into this mindset and step into network marketing success my friend!

Home Based Business Leads On A Shoe String Budget

Home based business leads are the life blood of every networkers success or failure online. It’s that simple.  If you can generate an endless source of home business leads to introduce to your opportunity, you win.  But, if you struggle to do this on a regular basis you fail.

Your single most focus should be on learning how you are going to generate quality home based business leads if you are serious about having success. Don’t worry though, I a couple suggestion on how you can find an unlimited number of people searching for opportunities just like yours.

I’m asked regularly from struggling or new home business entrepreneurs for the best ways online to generate leads on a shoestring budget, so today’s blog post we are going to review the three most powerful ways to do just that.

1. Funded Proposal:

For the best way to having success in your business is to turn your small budget into a larger one while simultaneously generating leads and a profit at the same time like I do. If you do not have very much money to start advertising your business now then the first thing you should think about is how to make your budget bigger, not how to get by solely on free traffic sources.

Why?

Don’t get me wrong I love getting free traffic to generate my home based business leads, but to secure and guarantee long tern success you will want to develop the ability to generate traffic from as many different sources as possible.  Most high impact advertising does cost money, so it should be a reality to understand and overcome, not try to avoid.

Using a funded proposal gives you the opportunity to generate home based business leads and have those leads pay for themselves through the sale of retail products in the marketing system you and your team are using online.

So your strategy should be how you can afford to pay more for advertising instead of trying to do everything free and using a funded proposal system is by far the most powerful way to do
this.

2. Article Marketing:

About a year and a half ago I attended a very informative marketing summit where I fully realized the massive power of article marketing.  I personally have written some 500 plus articles that result in over 500,000 references to my name in Google. That’s very powerful for multiple reasons.

After that weekend I started adding article marketing on a regular basis to my personal weekly marketing action plans and since then this method alone now produces over 1,000 visitors a day to my blog, generates me 200 to 300 leads per day and provides an extra $15,000 a month all from the free traffic my articles generate for me on complete auto-pilot. That’s right article marketing produces residual advertising, meaning once I get an article posted on a directory it generates me free home business leads month in and month out without further effort.

I just recently discovered that one of my original blogs that I used to use as an easy way to share information with my team with (back in 2006 and haven’t posted since) actually has been generating me free home business leads weekly all these years and I didn’t even realize it.  To this day it still automatically generates over 1000 unique visitors every month, creates a few dozen free leads and all I did to get these home based business leads was make a couple posts to my team over 5 years ago.

Now don’t think you can just go out and make seven posts this week and expect blogging to bring you big traffic next week, but three or four months down the line when you have over 100 posts or so on your blog you can mark my words the search engines are going to be sending you some significant free automatic traffic just for you having put that content out there that can last forever.

That is all it took for me after I seen it for my own eyes, now I post on my blogs as often as I can. You should too my friend.

The last thing I need to say about these free marketing methods is this, don’t think about using just one of these methods I strongly suggest using all three of them together like I do and you too will soon not only have high quality targeted free home business leads coming your way, but I am sure you will find that you have an ever growing marketing budget to go along with it from the funded proposal sales that will automatically be created.

MLM Sign Ups & MLM Prospecting Made Easy With These 2 Principles

Three plus times a day, I get contacted by someone on Facebook trying to
recruit me into their opportunity, and …

Right on schedule I got one of those emails this morning.

Before I go any further into this lesson about how to get more mlm sign ups for your business, I’m going to let the cat out of the bag …

The mlm sponsoring lesson I’m about to share with you holds the ability, if you use it of course, to at least triple the number of people you are currently recruiting into your networking business right now regardless of how you’re recruiting, or triple your conversion rates on any sales letter, advertisement or video you currently use with your business.

I don’t know about you but, anytime I can learn to get more results without working any harder that’s an IMPORTANT lesson, so focus in so you can start getting more quality mlm sign ups for your networking business.

Last night I get an email from some contact, lets call him ‘Mr. Opportunity Junkie’ :-)

Mr. Opportunity Junkie is trying to recruit me into his new opportunity, and says the following…

“Hey Paul, I’m sure you get messages like this all the time, but I’m in company XYZ and
I wanted to know if you are it yet.  If not you should be because all the other “heavy hitters” are so that should be a clue what I am referring too.I know you probably won’t join under me, but I figure what do I have to lose, so if you want to join here through me this is my link….”

Like I said, this happens ALL the time to someone like me, and just like I responded to Mr. Opportunity Junkie…

I want to help point out a HUGE mistake that he made in his offering so you don’t make
the same mistake yourself in your attempt to get more mlm sign ups.

But, before I do that.

I told Mr. Opportunity Junkie, that he is to be commended for taking a shot at mlm sponsoring in any way. Why?  Because most people in the network marketing industry never get that far.  So I respect his courage.

Here’s where he and MOST struggling multi-level marketers make a HUGE mistake…

Can you spot it yourself above in his message to me?

It’s glaring right off the page.

Ok, here it is.  His approach to recruit me came from a position of weakness.

Saying things like…

“I know this probably won’t work”

Might not be the most effective way to open a conversation aimed at persuasion to anyone, but…

That’s not the biggest mistake he made.

It’s this…

His entire approach was self-serving.

“If I can just recruit Paul Birdsall that would be HUGE for me.”

Problem with that is…

It’s self-serving in the WRONG direction.

Meaning…

There’s ZERO in it for the person he was trying to recruit.  In this case me.

If you want to get more mlm sign ups or influence people, don’t think about yourself first, instead ask yourself this…

“How I can make my prospect an offer they will find hard or simply can’t refuse?”

Start from there and your mlm sponsoring results will spike upwards.

People are inherently selfish by nature. It’s not our fault, it is actually instinctual.  We have to be or we won’t survive on this planet, but…

If you want to improve your mlm prospecting efforts and get more people into your home based networking business you have to leverage this “instinct” to your advantage.

Today I’d like to share with you three unique and unusual ways to get MORE traffic with the Fiverr service.

As many of you know, Fiverr is a really cool place where you can get things outsourced for just five bucks.

But it can also be a traffic powerhouse when used properly…

1. Convert your articles to Powerpoint and PDF.

A few days ago I showed you how to get hundreds of visitors to your websites by converting your articles into Powerpoint presentations and submitting them to a site called SlideShare.net.

Well, now you can automate that process using Fiverr like I just discovered.

For just $5, John will transform your article to powerpoint slideshow and a PDF.  He will then submit those to the top 5 slide sharing websites online and the top 5 document sharing websites out there too.

So, for example, if I was creating a Top List about some of the top affiliate
marketers, then I would go and find quotes by each person about tips on how to
be a successful affiliate. And I would include that in the post by their caricature.

This adds extra value (and an entertainment factor) for your readers. Plus, when
those people see the caricatures you’ve created of them – they’ll be pleasantly
surprised and more likely to share your new blog post on Twitter, Facebook, etc…



Once your post is published I would also recommend sending a short email to each person, letting them know about the post and letting them know they can use the caricature however they like in their business.
